Last Word

The Last Word is a classic cocktail from the Prohibition era, first appearing at the Detroit Athletic Club and later almost forgotten. It is made with equal parts gin, Green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur, and fresh lime juice. It was rediscovered by Seattle bartender Murray Stenson in 2004 and became a symbol of the 21st-century cocktail renaissance.
