Canchanchara

Canchanchara

Canchanchara is believed to be one of the oldest cocktails in Cuba, originating during the 19th-century independence wars. It is made with Cuban rum (or a strong distilled spirit), fresh lime juice, and honey. Initially used as an energy booster and to help prevent colds, it is now a signature drink of Trinidad city.

Flavor
Canchanchara combines the richness of rum, the sweetness of honey, and the tartness of lime, creating a balanced flavor with complex notes of sugarcane and honey, both invigorating and refreshing.
